In 2023, the Leadership Douglas County Alumni was established to provide opportunities for participants who have successfully completed the Leadership Douglas County Program to put into action the knowledge and skills acquired from the program. With a resource of over 400 graduates, the Alumni serves to:
- Give back to the community by continuing to provide quality leaders.
- Continue to grow in leadership strength through educational programming.
- Provide scholarships for Leadership Douglas County.
- Bond as a group to contribute to our community.
- Establish professional networking and new friendships.
- Reconnect with classmates.
What Are the Benefits?
- Quarterly LDC Newsletter – Updates on current class, news about alumni.
- Link to Alumni online directory
- Have access to events and socials that help promote professional and personal networking.
- At least 4 events will be scheduled throughout the year (some may involve an additional fee) which may include:
- Social Event/Holiday event (November 8, 2023)
- Service Project (April starting in 2024 – specific date TBD)
- Educational Program (TBD, as opportunities arise)
- Invitation to Graduation Ceremonies (June 5, 2024)
- Meet the New Class (September 13 or 20, 2024)
Your dues are paid to the Castle Rock Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. Membership dues for charitable organizations are tax deductible, however, you should check with your own tax advisor.
